A gentle reminder: Did you apply for BENG-XXIII yet?

This is the usual reminder at the beginning of the year. We hope you all have restarted your judo activities after the holidays and that your judoka are eager to participate in tournaments! So we would like to remind you of our great BENG tournament, taking place for the 23rd time this year on April 14, 15 and 16 in Beverwijk

Download the forms

You can download the outlines HERE or, if you want to apply directly, download the application form HERE.

Modifications to the outlines

There are two small modifications to the outlines: A clarification of the age groups allowed for the various tournaments (16+ SNWJG and all ages for BENG) and the closure date (March 8th) is now in the document.

This year for the first time: VI-Judo

This year, as a pilot, we intend to organise VI-judo matches in addition to A-judo. We have IBSA referees capable of leading these matches. Please use the application form and indicate VI B1, B2 or B3 in the form. The VI-judo competition takes place during the Special Needs World Judo Games on Saturday morning.

See you in April!

WOC BENG-XXIII

SNJF and the BENG committee wish you a Happy New Year!

We hope the new year bring you all sorts of good things, and we wish you a safe and wonderful judo year!

This is an invitation for the twenty-third edition of our great tournament in Beverwijk. We are honoured and proud to be able to invite you, our guests, for this tournament that since its inception in 1998 has become the greatest in the world for judoka with a disability.
The Ben van der Eng Memorial does not select: We accept any handicap whether it is physical, mental or sensory. Our 5-grade divisioning system FCS is capable of handling anything from the most accomplished judoka to the most severely disabled ones in the safest way possible.
Indeed our Sunday’s BENG! tournament is, we can proudly say, the greatest Judo party in the world whereas the more “serious” Saturday hosts the Special Needs World Judo Games for Shiai and Kata.
